Banksy-like graffiti adorn walls in Tehran
TEHRAN -- Walls in Tehran have been embellished with graffiti, which is broadly similar to those created by acclaimed British street artist Banksy.
The artworks have been autographed by an unknown artist as “Black Hand”, the Persian service of Honaronline reported on Tuesday.
Each work also bears a slogan. One of the works features an image of French philosopher René Descartes and his philosophical proposition that has been changed into “I click ‘like’, therefore I am.”
Another work shows a bull-headed man with the slogan “Let’s not enjoy natural leather!”
Another highlight depicts Iranian rapper Hichkas beside an image of Iranian sculptor Parviz Tanavoli’s “Heech”.
